Job Description

Play Taxi Media is looking for an Account Executive to join our Toronto sales team, effective immediately. This is a key position in a growing company, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital, OOH and/or traditional media sales. In this role, primary responsibilities will include managing all facets of the advertising sales process - establishing long-term relationships with key personnel in advertising agencies, evangelizing the medium with direct clients, and providing superior customer service in order to foster trusting relationships that lead to repeat business.

Job Requirements

  • Maximizes sales according to client objectives by making proposing innovative and adapted advertising solutions
  • Judiciously and efficiently utilizes personal and internal resources to prepare documents and presentations
  • Develops and maintains good business relationships with existing and potential clients in the advertising industry
  • Utilizes industry connections and personal networks to develop new business
  • Supports networking activities by representing Play Taxi Media at industry events
  • Is constantly on the look-out for industry and client trends, news and information
  • Participates actively in all sales meetings, brainstorming sessions and training seminars
  • Monitors competitors’ activities


Required attributes & skills:

  • Ability to work independently, with excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • An advocate of digital and interactive media
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in out-of-home and/or online/mobile/interactive sales, having generated $500K-$1M per year in sales
  • Enthusiastic, with a passion for excellence
  • Mature, honest, and fearless
