Job Description

 The principal role of Office Administrator and Accounting Assistant is to interface with the Director of Finance (located in Raleigh, North Carolina) to support the ongoing research and development and manufacturing activities taking place at the Thornhill site. This will include coordinating and relaying account and expense information to the Raleigh office, assisting in the processing and maintenance of financial and tax information, assisting in the preparation of R&D tax credit claims, assisting with AR and AP including client & vendor calls as needed. In addition, managing and booking travel for employees and field teams and handling office expenses and purchases will be part of the responsibilities.

The Office Administrator/Accounting Assistant will be working closely with the CEO (Thornhill Office) and the Director of Finance (Raleigh Office) and will be regularly interacting with the research, engineering and production teams. Position will also include coordination with additional accounting staff located in India. Position may require travel to the Raleigh office 1-2 times per year.

Applicants must have at least 3 years experience working in a business office environment, excellent communication skills, mastery of MS Excel, Word, e-mail and Skype, experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting programs, proficiency with office equipment and scanning. General problem solving abilities and internet research experience also required.
